I need to know how to enter specific hazards for each hole. The manual is not very clear.
You can’t. I have an SG4. If you are charting or recording a course yourself, you can only record the front, middle, and back of the green. Only the 3 and 4 star courses that are recorded by SkyCaddie and which you have to pay the annual membership fee, have distances to hazards, intelegreen feature, ETC.
When recording on your own, you only have the 3 green distance options. It kind of sucks, but the green data is the most important. I still use my laser range finder a lot and the skycaddie is nice when you are out in the woods with no line of sight. They could easily make it possible to do this, but obviously SkyCaddie wants to sell you the annual membership. Some of the other GPS golf range finders might let you do this, but not SkyCaddie.
